About CombatScore
Veteran-owned. Built on the mat.
The short version
I'm Scott. Air Force veteran, software engineer, and a white belt who got tired of walking out of class and forgetting half of what happened by the time I got to my car.
I wanted a simple way to log what I worked on, see where I was getting stuck, and have something smarter than my own memory tell me what to focus on next. Nothing I found did that. So I built it.
CombatScore started as a training journal for myself. It turned into an AI coaching layer that reads your actual session data — not generic advice, your patterns. Then gym owners started asking for tools to understand their students the same way. So it grew into a platform.
How I think about building this
Your data is yours
Every session, every stat, every photo — it belongs to you. Export it anytime as JSON. If you cancel premium, your data stays. I built this because I wanted a tool I could trust with my own training history.
Honest AI, not hype
The AI reads your session history and finds patterns. It doesn't watch you roll. It doesn't replace your coach. It's a training journal that talks back — and I'm upfront about what it can and can't do.
Built by a practitioner
I'm not a VC-backed team building gym software from a WeWork. I'm a white belt who trains, logs his own sessions in this app every week, and fixes what annoys me. The product gets better every time I step on the mat.
Veteran discipline
Twelve years in the Air Force taught me how to ship under pressure, keep systems reliable, and take ownership when things break. I bring that same standard to this product.
