Rest days keep your streak alive when you can't train. Two soft caps stop them from being a streak cheat code.
A streak is the count of consecutive days you've trained or actively rested. Rest days exist so a single off day doesn't reset months of work — they're not a free pass, they're a way for the platform to know "I'm intentionally recovering, not ghosting."
Tap Rest Day next to the Log Session button on your dashboard. Add an optional note (recovery, injury, travel). Your streak holds.
CombatScore enforces two soft caps to keep the streak meaningful:
Hit either limit and the button surfaces a clear error. Nothing breaks.
Tap the rest day in your training history → Delete. The streak recalculates automatically.
On the kid's edit page (/dashboard/family/[kid]/edit), the sticky header has a Rest Day button right next to Log session. Same anti-gaming rules apply per-kid.
